What is screen printing?
Screen Printing is a durable, high-quality printing method where ink is pressed through a custom screen directly onto the garment. It produces bold, vibrant colors that hold up wash after wash, making it ideal for T-shirts, hoodies, uniforms, event apparel, and more. Screen printing is especially cost-effective for larger quantities and gives your design that classic, professional printed feel.
4M Graphics LLC keeps up with the latest available and reliable equipment. New technology that claims it can help with the efficiency, quality and/or speed of production is carefully researched and evaluated prior to being put into production with 4M Graphics.
Our graphic designers use Adobe graphics programs like Illustrator and Photoshop to virtual proof, correct and prepare your art for the press. Our production artists prep the files for our laser to screen exposure unit. In pre-press the emulsion on the screens is exposed with precision by a Laser To Screen system. The screens will register perfectly on press because the M&R Tri-Loc Registration System is used throughout this process.
Spot Color Printing uses individually mixed ink colors that are printed one at a time through separate screens. This process creates bold, vibrant, and consistent colors, making it ideal for logos, branded apparel, and designs with a limited number of colors.
Simulated Process Printing is an advanced screen printing technique that uses layers of halftones and carefully selected ink colors to recreate detailed, full-color artwork. It’s ideal for photographs, realistic graphics, and complex designs while maintaining the vibrant, durable finish of traditional screen printing.
Halftones use patterns of tiny dots to create the appearance of shading, gradients, and additional colors. This technique allows screen printing to reproduce greater detail and depth while using a limited number of ink colors.
Underbasing uses a layer of ink, typically white, printed beneath the design to create a solid foundation on dark or colored garments. This helps colors appear brighter, more vibrant, and true to the original artwork.

Direct-to-Film (DTF) Transfers use specialized inks printed onto film and heat pressed directly onto apparel. This process produces vibrant, full-color designs with fine detail and excellent durability, making it ideal for logos, custom artwork, and both small and large apparel orders. We strictly use this method for low quantity production, extremely high detailed jobs or to produce small amounts of youth and toddler gear as a supplement to a larger order of adult apparel.
Custom Logo Patches offer a clean, professional way to showcase your brand on hats, jackets, uniforms, bags, and more. Applied using heat for a strong, lasting bond, patches add a premium dimensional look and are available in a variety of styles, shapes, and finishes. Whether it is leather, embroidered, woven, PVC/Rubber, printed or engraved; we have a solution for you. All 4M Graphics custom patches are heat applied, WE DO NOT offer stitched patches at this time.
